Description
The DuoPoint explosion-proof universal gas detector has been developed to provide early warning by detecting flammable gases, toxic gases, and oxygen in industrial environments such as gas plants, chemical facilities, storage areas, and manufacturing processes. The DuoPoint supports up to two detection channels simultaneously and is compatible with catalytic bead, electrochemical, and infrared sensors, enabling quick adaptation to different detection needs. Installed in areas at risk of gas leakage, the DuoPoint continuously monitors the atmosphere, displaying measured values via its integrated OLED display while providing DC 4–20mA standard output, isolated RS-485 Modbus (optional), HART communication, and relay contact signals for alarms. Bluetooth connectivity enables wireless setup, calibration, and maintenance through a smartphone app.

The DuoPoint’s body is available in aluminium alloy or stainless steel, built in a complete pressure-resistant explosion-proof structure, suitable for hazardous areas with gas leak and explosion risks. It features a universal transmitter design, allowing immediate compatibility when changing sensor types, and can be configured as a diffusion, insert, suction, or remote type (up to 100 m with a junction box). The internal structure consists of a graphic OLED unit for real-time gas readings and status information, electronics for signal output (DC 4–20mA, RS-485 Modbus, HART), alarm relays, and PCB boards. The exterior houses the sensor unit for gas detection, an alarm light ring (10-LED array), cable entries, and external HART port (optional) with intrinsic safety. Calibration and parameter control can be performed externally using a magnet bar or via Bluetooth, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime.
