When designing our compliance four gas detector at WatchGas, we spoke to customers across various markets and applications and found five key things they look for in a gas detector:

1: A clear display for rapid reading and understanding potential risks quickly. The SST4 Micro screen makes up 25% of the front face of the device, allowing for no compromise on a transparent display. Other products in the market have an average coverage of 17%, and some are even as low as 7%.

The SST4 Micro will give you up to 48 hours of run time and will not compromise on seeing H2 as it uses a catalytic sensor.

5: Sensor technology that reduces OPEX. The device has been designed with solid polymer sensors that offer long life spans and aren’t impacted by the drying out or lead consumption that other devices face. Also, the extended range allows for better exposure understanding and enables safety managers to have more data at their fingertips.
