Hydrogen has an exceptionally low ignition energy and wide explosive limits (4–75% in air), making it highly combustible in even small concentrations. And because it’s lighter than air, it tends to accumulate in high, confined areas like ceilings and enclosed tanks, places traditional sensors might miss. Even though hydrogen isn’t toxic, high concentrations can displace oxygen, leading to asphyxiation. You can’t smell it. You can’t see it. Only precision gas detection can keep you safe.
